Just reading the toilet thread for tent people, reminded me of my toilet issue. Ok not so much a issue but a question. I use the blue toilet liquid in my toilet in the caravan, but i have heard that the Blue is not allowed in france, and you have to buy something different, is this correct or just someone winding me up? and also the toilet pink is that allowed?.
French arnt they strange??
Anyway You have just over 10 months to answer before i travel to france so no rush
You can buy the blue in most supermarkets there, although I found it very weak when I had to buy some a few years back - that made it expensive as you had to use more of the bottle per tank.
Some UK sites with composting systems ban the use of traditional fluids, as these have an adverse effect on the bacteria, so there may well be similar "green" sites in France and elsewhere.
You do occasionally get sites in both France & UK that ask you to use green fluid but who's to know anyway? Buy your blue fluid before you go to France. Generally you can only get the expensive Thetford stuff there which itself is more expensive than UK.
