is it ok to use an induction hob when camping i think they are 1800 watts so how does that compare with 10 or 16 amp supply will i blow the campsite into outer space ???
You need to use the right pans with the hob otherwise it wont work steel works aluminium doesnt you can check the pans with a magnet if the magnet sticks the pans are OK to use

Everything has been said before, but since nobody ever listens we have to keep going back and saying it all over again and again and again
Got our induction hob from Lidl a couple of years back £25 bargain, and used it for our fortnight campings in the South of France, on 10amp EHU.
From memory on full power level 10, it was only drawing 8amp I did do a test of current draw at different levels, a search for Lidl induction hob, on here should give the results.
Worked fine, and is a great bit of kit, and packs neatly into an old laptop bag.
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
