Hello,

I am thinking of getting a cobb oven but I'm not sure what the difference is between the different models.
Can anyone enlighten me? Premier or BBQ?
I have seen some good reviews it's just which one to get.
Not looking at getting the gas one as it is too expensive.

Thanks

Sueze

Cobb Normal (old style)

Cobb Premier (new style)

Details of the difference are found in the two links above.

I am not sure if you can get the Original Cobb new any more, but some stockists may still do them.

Cheers Ratty

There are only x 2 models of Cobb, the gas one and the charcoal one (which has different names, depending which accessories package you go for).

We've got the charcoal one and love it. We've only ever used Cobblestones in it, but think it would be worth using heat beads for dishes that have a shorter cooking time.

I'm wondering about getting the gas one because we visit the south of France in summer, where you can't use charcoal BBQs, only there seems to be a shortage of reviews for this item! So, has anybody out there got a gas Cobb, please? And, if so, how do you rate it?

Thanks a lot.

But you can't use it at certain sites in the south, in the height of summer (fire risk, only gas or electric allowed).
