Please help me .I may just be thick! I have recently bought two aqua roll mains feeds for direct water supply and neither seem to work! I have followed all the instructions but they both fail and they do not cut off when the water reaches the float and I have had my pitch flooded more times than a few! Is there a knack to this device or am I really unlucky and have bought two broken ones?!

Just make sure that your normal filler feed from the Aquaroll to your caravan is not preventing the float from rising. This has happened to me before. I tend to let the Aquaroll fill before connecting to the caravan supply to prevent this.
Have you tried fitting the hose directly to the float connector (without having it in the aquaroll)
You can then lift the float by hand and see if the water cuts off. When you screw it into the aquaroll make sure the float is sitting the correct way around.
Seems very strange to have two broken ones. Never had any problems with ours apart from like 'The Vicar' says above, when the pump feed to the van interferes with the float.
Fit the mains adaptor to the Aquaroll and then look in through the top opening. Ensure that the float is the correct way up and then mark the outside of the adaptor with a couple of blobs of paint -- one on the Aquaroll body and the other on the adaptor
It's then a simple job to make sure it is the right way up next time just by aligning the 2 blobs!
