I find the gas oven in the caravan heats up faster than the electric fan oven at home but I do need to set it a bit higher and longer than I would at home. We have cooked everything that we do at home in the caravan and all has been good. I will put it to the test tomorrow by baking bread in it!

we cook quite a bit in the van, every new year when away we do a full roast dinner, meat, veg and yorkies with no problem, like the post above you have to give it a little longer but not come across anything we cannot cook. One tip my wife says is she bought some enamel plates and dishes and uses these in the van. happy cooking

I don't use the gas oven in the van I use a halogen oven and cook just as I would at home , the only reason for this is purely your paying for electric so use it I also use a two ring electric hob I do use the grill and sometimes the hob if I need more than two rings we have had the same gas bottle for five years lol

My caravan didn't have an oven so I bought one of the mini ovens from Lidl and find it to be very good.

I use the oven. You may need to give it a bit longer to heat up properly so it may be worth investing in a proper thermometer.
