You got a bargain there, looks brand new, good size as well what internall height does it give you?.
I would be tempted to get a hinged locking lid knocked up in ali checker plate, to finish it off, and maybe add a "Trailer Tongue Box" for good measure.
I guess it is running on 10" wheels and not those icle 8" jobbies.
Bloke was looking to sell the trailer with a large collection of camping gear for £1000. I messaged only needed trailer and if he couldn't sell as one lot I would be interetsed in trailer. He didn't get any offers for the package so I got the trailer, and as he was local he delivered it as well (my car isnt booked in for a towball until next week).
Internal height is 85cm with side extentions so a good overall space. Not entirely convinced about putting extra box on A frame, there is not a lot of space as spare wheel is on front. A lid might be a good idea tho and maybe a jockey wheel.

Has your Titan got 10" wheels, as some advertised seem to have 8" wheels, which does seem a little undersized for what is a descent size trailer.
Having said that the Gross for the 8" wheel model is stated as 489kg minus from that 89kg for the trailer then spare wheel and side extensions would give a payload capacity of about 350kg which would be about right for 8" wheels I would guess, but a fairly low load capacity for the size of trailer.
Not somthing that I would wish to tow fully laden down the French autoroutes at 81mph for a 1000 miles I must admit.
But for UK use an ideal camping trailer for the money.
I have the same Titan trailer but smaller version, also with height extensions and only 8inch wheels. I think with the larger version, 10inch wheels and A frame then you should be fine. I don't have the ability to put a metal lid on so I just bought a large bit of wood and lie it over the top of the trailer whilst in the garage, this way it is safe from vermin and your gear is safe. When I go away I just put the wood to one side, put on the cover and hook up and go. I would advsie plying the floor and poss sides and add a few load restraint beckets to help keep your gear safe when on the move.

My issue with my trailer is that it has little wheels and I have had problems with the bearings from new (the trailer has only done 100miles from new). I am concerned about reliability on long haul journeys incase of a breakdown. Also the tyres are only rated to 50mph and the inside is a bit coarse, the metal edgesa cut into my gear. Also the lack of suspension means gear had been damaged again. So I really want a trailer which will be reliable. You may be right that Erde is not the best choice for this.
I will take a look at your suggestions. I have also been looking at an I For Williams trailer which is a P5E. Their website says you can buy a new one for £575 and they are 45cm deep. Do you know if these are any good?
I really need a trailer which I can collect assembled and live near Newcastle so looking for one I can pick up within 100m radius. IFW have a dealer just near me.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but Boston600, I am living near to Newcastle and am in a similar situation in wanting atrailer from a local dealer if possible, how did you get on and who did you use in the end? thanks
