Puriclean brings melamine up like new except where scratched. For occasional use it is fine but I would not like to use it for 150 days a year like I do with the Arcopal.

Both, they are lighter than most crockery and they bounce well! I use them in the caravan, camping and at home and the only time I have broken a plate in about 30 years is at home when I dropped it onto a stone floor and it landed on its edge. They are also very easy to clean, oven proof and suitable for microwave.
