I have read before on here about these but cannot find any threads under the search option and was wondering what the verdict is on their performance??

I visited a Home Bargains store today and they were selling packs of 2 for 79p!!, obviously it would have been rude not to buy 4 packs (I would have bought more but was worried i'd be stuck with boxes of dud fuel sources and thought I'd check here before I stockpile)

What's everyone's thoughts on their performance compared to the original cobblestones?, first impressions look good as they look and feel the same and seem to be the same weight but I was wondering about burn time and ease of lighting etc....

Any input would be greatly appreciated

They light a lot easier than cobblestones and last as long. I am very happy with them and will be buying done more

We use them in our Cobb and they are brilliant. As said before - easy to light and burn just as hot as cobblestones.

Cooks a whole chicken in about 2 hours. Yummmmmm

Forgot to say - they also have packs of 3 for 99p.
