I have to say, enamel for the win :)

I find it easier to clean and much more durable.

The thing I like about the enamel plates is that they have a high side so you can eat off your 'lap' without everything rolling off the plate. Though I do tend to use those on Scout camps and go 'posh' for family holidays. lol

much nicer than the ones we have...although I would like to change from melamine to corelle at some point.

Good bargain, will get a couple for the kids. I prefer the enamel ones, remember getting mine from home bargains for 80p, I took five at that price :D

We use chunky china plates and bowls,which is about the only posh bit about our set up!

I bought the Aldi set last year but must admit find the large plate too small for a dinner plate. I have some lovely plates that I use outside for BBQs that I got from Asda years ago but can't find any as nice as these. (I don't want to take these camping as they are handy at home, especially with my Grandson).
