Its hubbys birthday coming up and I have been racking my brain what to get him. Now I've been wanting to get a Cobb for ages and had a brainwave this morning - I could get him a Cobb, its sort of a BBQ isnt it, which is definitely man territory and I could claim its for use in the garden, which would also get round his current ban on buying camping gear

The only difficult part will be making him think its his idea that we take it camping, that and finding room in the car (current reason for his ban on buying camp equipment is lack of space in the car)

Just need to convince myself that its not selfish, and that he'll also enjoy playing with it.
Are there any men out there who like using their Cobbs ??

It was my birthday last week and the good lady bought me a lovely new black and decker pressure washer with patio attachment. Now I love this but keeping it in perspective I can now wash the land rover the range rover the caravan the drive way slabs, slabs at front of the house and the decking. How lucky I am

Seeing how great and useful a present this is to me I just can't wait to see her in doors face on her birthday when she unwraps her brand new VAX carpet shampooer.

LOL! I always buy hubby sthg camping related, especially cooking stuff, 'cos that's why I love camping, he does all the cooking!! We have a Cobb, & he's always looking for an excuse to use it at home too! Win-win! However, I have bought him so much stuff he is now insisting on a bigger car to transport it all...

Do it. And buy him a man-apron as well, and maybe a Cobb utensils set, just to make him think it's a totally male thing.

Then all you have to do is make him do all the cooking and washing up afterwards (well, it is his 'toy' isn't it?).

Well I've gone ahead and ordered one, think I'll get some smoking chips too so he can have a go at using it as a smoker too. Dead excited, just need some decent weather so we can go camping !
