My caravan is an 2003 avante 534 with an overall height of 2666 mm, I am looking for a porch awning to fit but they all seem to have a max height of 2550mm can anyone suggest one that will fit.
You may find the height in the brochure (I am assuming that where you have it from) is the overall height which includes the aerial, roof lights etc.
Most porch awnings fit heights of between 2.35 and 2.5 and if you measure it you will likely find it fits
If you have measured it then my apologies but thats awfully tall if you add aerial etc
I'd go second hand (as cant get new) on an Inaca Kalahari or the newer Mercury very underrated awnings
Oh and check it wont fowl windows and door when up eg the uprights

We had a similar problem with our adria adora. The awning rail height (from memory!) was 263cm (or was it 266cm? cant recall exactly) and all the porch awning info we had stated max height of 255cm. I chatted to a fellow adria owner on here who re-assured me that most standard porch awnings fitted fine. We went for a kampa rally awning in the end and have had no problems with it and it fitted fine.
