We've tried the modern tent material type, but we much prefer our good old traditional stripey beach type.

I like my 5-pole Blue Diamond windbreak, as it is a special edition that has an unusual ivy/hedge pattern.

I guy mine, as I lack the strength to drive the poles sufficiently deep into the ground for them to be stable enough without guys.

I still have my trusted 4-pole Khyam canopy windbreak, however, it does not look quite as nice with my retro looking Hypercamp Escala 4.

I have just bought a new one from Amazon, it is the good old fashioned type with wooden poles but is plain green to match the tent.

Another vote for the Blue Diamond windbreaks - I have the 7 pole one in the ivy design.
I also like my 2 flowery windbreaks which have wooden poles too - I bought them off eBay.

I have a modern metal pole windbreak too but find these too fiddly and not as stable in the wind as the old fashioned, whack em in the ground type!

The only issue I have with my Blue Diamond windbreak is that it is a tad too long to go into the trailer, and I need to carry it in the car instead, with not a lot of length to spare!

I broke the trailer lid trying to jam it down without noticing the metal caps of the windbreak were in the way, DOH!!!

Fixed the lid now with some Sugru self-setting silicone rubber from the inside, and cover it with a decal on the outside.

We got the Blue Diamond 5 pole but haven't used it yet. We looked at others but some seemed to have far too many guys - so opted for a simpler one that guys could be added in windy conditions
