Hi Guys, we have the Erde 122 with a soft top. We were going to buy the hard top to give us extra room but have been told by friends that you can extend with bars and metal sides!! Does anyone know if this is the case and where can we source these panels from?

Hi, I made a hard top myself and saved big money.  I had marine plywood cut to measure and more than doubled the capacity of my trailer.  I think it cost me about 30 pounds total excluding my labour.  I then had a tarp made to measure.  It all works a treat.

My uncle made us an extension for our 122 out of plywood. Then he had a larger soft top cover made for us too. It's great, gives us so much more space.
Will try and post pic, first time I've used the iPad photobucket app so fingers crossed it works.

I belive you can get the extended sides for the Erde range.
I have them on my caddy 353, makes such a difference and massive..

Here is mine its made of wood the top hinges up and locks works well I have a gas bbq table that clips on the side, I pimped out my trailer :)
