Hi guys I just bought the aldi stove today, 39.99 euro, 2x 1.5kw burner and 1.5kw grill, my husband thinks i should return it and take the hit on the campingaz chef as it is more powerful-- 2x 2.3kw burners but its priced 79 euro?Any opinions, I also bouhght 2 aldi camping folding camping chairs, and the yellowstone lantern too only 3.99, it's our 1st time going cmaping as a family! Thanks

If you use the suitcase stoves correctly they are not a problem. The same as all equipment on any type of gas.

Jeez! I read those threads, scary. I wouldn't be cooking in the tent. I think I will stick with the aldi stove.

I wouldn't bother with a suitcase stove, maybe ok for boiling a kettle, but cooking a proper meal, you will find yourself getting through a few canisters.

We bought the Aldi cooker the other day then i took it back as I thought it was really flimsy, I got a brand new camping gaz cooker off ebay for £30 so only £5 more then the aldi one. and much more soild.
