I've recently bought a 12 volt leisure battery for our next camping trip, in a medium sized 5 man tent, so as not to rely on EHU.
I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good 12v light we can attach to the battery which is bright enough to read by?
I've seen twin fluorescent tube lights for sale which are 8 watts each, but are they very bright? Perhaps it would it be better to use a conventional lamp with a kypton bulb or similar?
Any opinions or recommendations please let me know :-)
Hi There is a company on flebay called novatouch2000 they will make you an LED lamp to any length ours is about 18" long with a connection to fit the battery, they have an adjustable light setting speak to Phil or Colin very helpful. Tell them you want a camping tube.
Rather than have wires trailing about the best led tent lights I have found are this type. They use 2 AAA batteries which last for ages & bright enough to read with.
