My brother has just bought one and was looking for a carpet to suit obviously as cheap as poss and I just wondered if anybody knew of anywhere that had them cheap please or an alternative that may fit
Look at my thread on tent carpet modification 1 - 3. It is really easy to do - just fiddly and there were some other ideas how to finish the carpets off. The carpet was the Coleman Fremont and was £22 inc. postage when I bought it but I think it's gone up a little. (ebay purchase or go to their site Marshalls)

I have the 5+2 and bought the carpet separately. Ours is the grey one with the larger circle design - I think subsequently the design is a smaller one giving an overall grey effect. What I would say about the carpet is that it is MASSIVE, as is the tent clearly. What we have come to realise is that we don't need anywhere near as much SIG living space. The carpeted area is nearly 4m square. Half this would suffice! Also the carpet has many joins. I realise it has to for the size of it but there is one square ish section that velcros off and also there are 2 sections about 40cm wide that are joined with webbing down the length of the carpet. It can be a trip hazard. Still, we wouldn't be without a carpet and I think I got it for about £40+ at the time, but I would consider if you really need 4m of tent carpet because the pack size is huge too!
