Is this possible? Our 'van came with a full sized awning but after a few hours of struggling we established we did not have all the poles needed, in fact we only have about 2 that are correct! It's a pity as it's in really good condition so I guess I will get that sold. Anyway, does anyone know if a porch type awning that would fit our 1980 Eccles Elan 14? It has the gully all the way around the 'van for sliding the awning into but does not have the straight top part which I understand the newer 'vans have?

I was wondering the same question for my 1999 ABI Sprinter. Although a later model it is shaped a bit like yours, without the straight roofline.
