We have one and are well pleased with it. Ideal for short breaks or at end of longer breaks. Easy to put on van (larger ones easier with two persons) travels securely and easy to erect.... Can by done by one but easier with two. We love it and thoroughly recommend.

I second hughandpenny's sentiments we have the Caravanstor zip which well made and dead easy to erect.
You can always just use the canopy to keep the sun off or even the rain to provide a dry area outside the door for drying off the dogs before letting them in.
You can be flexible about whether you use the whole awning or just the front or a side (we just used one side and a windbreaker in the Ardeche).
Only grump is I wish I'd got the bigger size. Got it brand new off ebay at 150 quid below rrp so I shouldnt grumble.
