Most campers end up with a trailer sooner or later and quiet a few then find it's not big enough and buy a bigger one so when it's your turn look at one twice as big as what think you will need multiply by the number you first thought of then buy the next size up and that should do you for a while!
went camping, bought more stuff, bought trailer, bought more stuff! went camping, left some stuff behind, made trailer bigger(almost twice the size) bought more stuff not sure it will fit will find out next weekend!
We have recently bought a trailer and have an estate with a roof box. I'm not sure I can fit all our stuff in, despite the extra capacity! In fact, I think I'll use 'Have Space, Will Fill It" as a signature!!
Yes, we have a brenderup 2205 with side extensions. It is approx 7x4 and we still fill it for the 3 of us. If you have a canvas tent they are very bulky.
After our last venture and our ever expanding equipment, I fear a trailer may be the next item on the list. My only worry, just like a garage, the more room you have the more stuff you get to fill it with!
We used to have a roofbox, but decided to upgrade to a trailer, which soon became a double height trailer. We have a C4 Picasso so big boot but still we're bursting at the seams! Beginning to think we shouldn't have got rid of the roofbox

My current tent requires a lot more space due to being canvas and bigger than my previous tent that was damaged beyond repair in the wind in 2011.
In order to take my folding bike with me on camping trips, I needed extra space, as I could not pack anymore gear into my 415L roof box and the boot of my MINI Cooper.
So I bought a trailer, a Brenderup 1105S with extension sides and ABS lid, which is more than double the capacity of my 415L roof box.
It is loaded with all my camping gear, including spare furnitures and equipment, and I still have space in the car as well as the trailer.
Loading and unloading is a lot quicker compared to using a roof box.
