Have just found out that we should be using this on our tents. Any tips or hints on how best to use it and any idea how much I would need for both tents 5 and 8 berth. Thanks in advance !

You shouldn't need to treat a polyester tent with nikwax as it has a special coating on it already, it's more for cotton tents. So unless you have any leakages leave it.
