Last year, possibly 2011, I saw advertised in the C&C Club monthly magazine a new to the market tube light (possibly fluorescent, possibly LED). From what I can remember it was approx. 1m long, had heavy rubber end caps and was either solar powered or rechargeable. I'm pretty sure no cables were involved and, most importantly, it had velcro for attaching the whole thing to most anything to which you may wish to attach it. I recall cost was around £40.
Naturally, having decided this was the item for me I did nothing about it and lost the magazine. Google has produced nothing close to a match.
If anyone has any "bright" ideas as to the identity of this light, or anything that is very similar, I'd love to hear your suggestions.
WE USE A CREE TORCH WITH RECGHARABLE BATTERYS AND CHARGER..WE GOT IT OFF AMAZON ..THE LIGHT IT THROWS OUT FOR ITS SIZE IS SUPERB..WERES VARIOUS SETTINGS ON IT..IE WIDE BEAM.. I came across a company online recently called Mr Beams, they seem to have a wide variety of lighting for camping and every other purpose. I particularly like the battery operated lantern that can charge a phone as well, but the batteries are D Cells and so quite expensive to keep it stocked all the time.
