Well we had a double aerobed which we were rally pleased with until one side developed a leak less than a year after buying it and we can't find the hole :(
Not prepared to waste more money on these expensive items I am now wondering about a double campbed rather than air bed. Can anyone recommend one? And are they comfy! The only one I saw had a metal bar down the middle, not exactly romantic was my thought but does it get in the way as much as it looks like it does?
Cheers everyone ------------- Debs

hi debs just go and get a outwell double posadas they are brilliant , as for the middle bar getting in the way well IN THE WAY OFF WHAT hope you are not talking nookie lol we have had no problems with ours yes A BIT OF NOOKIE ,
as long as you get a couple of sims on top you will sleep like a log .
just make sure that it will fit in your bedroom pod as they are quite big, but fold down and erect so easy . also the kampa one is good aswell good luck - shaun------------- yosemite shaun

Agree double posodas, we put a layer single duvet, fleece underblanket then sleeping bag really comfortable, plenty of room underneath for storage

Just thinking of doing the same after sleeping on a friends single bed and SIM.
Is a 5cm SIM sufficient to iron out the centre bar, for general sleeping arrangements.
Sure with a bit of imagination we can work round it if "restless"

We have 2 x double posadas beds
One has a 7.5 double outwell serenity sim and the other has 2 x 5cm single sims.
I personally think the 2 x singles sit better but they don't cover the centre bar.
Pretty decent kip and far better than air beds.------------- Hendo
