Hi we have recently bought a cello traveller tv for use in the caravan, but have somehow managed to get audio description on certain programmes. As we didn,t get a manual with it,can anybody help with the removal of this feature PLEASE. Cheers John.
Not much about these TV's on here, I have just ordered a 16 inch mains only model for use with our Freesat Satellite receiver.
As I have decided to retire my 20 year old Thomson Portable 12v/Mains 10" CRT TV to the workshop.
Don't get me wrong, the Thomson TV still gives a perfect picture, although reading the EPG from the satellite receiver onscreen can be a challenge unless your nose is up against the screen.
The Cello at 15.4 inch gives double the screen area, and will accept HD from the Freesat Box. no 12v option but there again we never ran the Thomson of 12v in anycase.
Even though the Thomson was just 10 inch the 16 inch Cello will pack smaller, I have been looking at these small LED TV's for a while, and came across the Cello's in John Lewis.
Did think about Meos and Kogan as they seemed good value, was going to go for a 13.3 inch, I dismissed Avtex although brilliant, they are way over priced.
I did see a £70 Alba 16 inch but thought the build quality was a compromise to far.
The Cello 16 inch came in at £96 which seemed a fair price to me, will see how it compares to the old Thomson when it arrives.
Just an update, TV arrived today, so gave it a quick test, for the money I am impressed, the TV gives over twice the screen area than my old 10 inch CRT unit, and of course packs flat, and takes up less space, so ideal for camping.
A bonus is that the TV runs of 12v via the supplied PSU, so that feature may come in handy.
For those interested the TV is a Cello 16 inch LED model C16117DVB
