Hi, we purchased a Outwell Montana tent from eBay earlier this year, the tent is in overall good condition and has survived the odd downpour but my question is, is it necessary to treat the canvas on a regular basis, if so what would you guys recommend?

there is no reason for you to actually treat the polyester coating of the tent whilst it's still waterproof, treating leaks at the seams is possible using seam sealer so if you have no leaks just leave it. It's mostly cotton tents that need treating and then again only if they start leaking
