Yep 74giggles.
That is quite a good deal from Argos, my only reservation would be that the side plates are quite small, and the mugs are just ordinary stoneware, not the Corelle stuff, also that pattern would not do it for us, as we have just plain white, or as Corelle call it Winter Frost, they also do another white called Dazzling White, but that would have worked out more expensive at the time.
World Kitchen often have offers, we got a 12 piece set no mugs and the side plates were the larger Luncheon size, Dinner Plates and Bowls same size as the Argos offer, so 4 of each item, cost was £50 inc delivery.
Also for a fraction of the cost, my local Makro does ARC from France crockery which is manufactured in much the same way as Corelle although I would say the ARC is slightly more heavy.
From Makro though ARC is only available in White.
A similar 12 piece set of ARC from Makro would have worked out at just under £20 even with the vat.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
If you have a Boyes near you - worth having a look as they have Luminarc trianon plates/side plates/soup bowls/ceral bowls etc for £1 each. The dinner plates are a bit on the small side though (9.5 inches - at least that what it says on their label). Their large salad bowls are £2.99

Easy to carry melamine dinnerware, would be a very good choice.
Not when one does not like using melamine.
