Hi, I bought the Dozer to upgrade from my Aldi mat. I bought one for me to try last year, with the intention of buying ones for hubby and son if I really liked it.
I did, but they are not selling Sims this year, and maybe not next year. So I am looking for an alternative recommendation. Something similar in size when packed also. When I was looking it was between a Thermarest (not sure which one) and the Dozer. The Dozer won due to cost as well.
So something similar in comfort and packed size is what I'm looking for? I guess it is going to cost me more money, so the son will probably make do with his Aldi one. He's only 7 so doesn't notice, but I liked the idea of saving a bit of space in car ( so I can add a few more things;)
Thanks for any help!

Whats the spec of the Dozer, including packed size ? Might help with recommendations.
I love my Nomad bought via Obelink, its a 10cm XW. They do a standard 66cm single also.
The Costco one is 7.5cm and a great price. The only issue I have with them is their length.------------- Christine

Ok from the website it's :
Length 195 cm
Width 60cm
Thickness 7.5cm
Weight 1918 GR (?)
Doesn't tell me packed size and its up in loft. It does go into a bag and is way smaller than the Aldi ones when they are rolled.
I have never looked at the Costo ones, but I thought they would just be a better cheap version than the Aldi ones. One of the things I noticed with the Dozer compared to the Aldi is the material is not so slippy, that made such a difference.

Yes I think they refereed to it as peach skin.
Mine isn't slippy material but the pack size would be too big.

I saw the video on the Outwell Dreamcatchers.. Seems they have that same peach feel fabric. Think they do a 7cm too, so should be close to a Dozer.------------- Christine
