Can somebody recommend a hitchlock that fits the Anssems GT750 hitch please. I was given a hitchlock that my dad kept when he sold his folding camper but unfortunately it does not fit. It's the type which has a square box and a cylinder going through it with the ocking mechanism in the cylinder.

So, any recommendations or if someone knows why a specific one wouldn't fit then all help gratefully recieved.

TIA

Does the hitch on your Anssems not have a locking handle? I think this will be as effective as a low-end 'yellow box' type hitch lock?

It looks like that trailer has a standard Alko hitch, so something like the Bulldog DM hitch lock would fit.

There are different variants of the Bulldog lock, as per this table, so you need to make sure you get the correct one (the DM one in the case of a standard Alko hitch).

Thanks Trekking Tekkie, yes it does have a locking handle but I feel this isn't that secure and could be drilled/hammered out in seconds. The outer hitchlock being a second thing to get through.

Thanks light fantastic. That's great.

Wonder why the hitch lock fitted a trigano 415 previously? (I thought that had an alko hitch (but I may be wrong)

The other question is what level of security is sufficient - axle stands and wheels off? Cabled to a tree?
