Hi there just joined today and i'm looking for some advice.
I need a 4berth tent ( in case the kids want to come) easy to put up by myself, something I don't need to crawl into or need to have arms like popeye to get the last pole in place.
Cash flow a bit tight maximum £120
Currently have a 3/4 berth dome old and had it a bit like me! Hopefully will manage a week at Hastings next week fingers crossed on the weather.
Many thanks all
Skoob

www.dpbolvw.net/click-1428744-10475506?url=http://www.outdoormegastore.co.uk are a very good online shop - they are reasonable in price and very good customer service.
Given your limits on budget the Campus range of tents may be worth looking at. They are made by Khyam, but are conventional bendy pole designs rather than the Khyam rapid-ex system, and are therefore a lot cheaper. There are a couple of family sized tents (the Yale, the Harvard deluxe and the Santiago) which are within your range.
Good luck with the hunt!

Have been looking at the Outwell Colarado 4 or Montana 5, like the space and does anyone know how easy to put up, as will be camping alone sometimes.

Hello skoob ,I would recommend one of these ,we have one for 2 adults and 2 kids for weekending ,but would be ample room for you without kids and still room to accomodate them ,and very very easy to put up ! (only 3 poles infact !! took us about 10mins )be warned though ,the picture is very deceptive it is much larger in real life!!
Just remeber dont go by the manufacturers idea of berths ! A 4 berth would never be large enough for 4 people ect ect
Infact we have a so called 3 berth ,just for eldest to use alone as a pup tent

Skoob , I'll second Skattys recommendation of a venture 600dlx. Its also our weekend/long weekend tent as well, and enough room for 2 adults, 2 kids and dog. We got ours (brand new) on ebay last summer for £69 +£5p+p.
------------- Its a spigure of feech!
