I always used to camp with duvets but I need to reduce weight and volume now that I will be camping with my 2 small children.
So I'm looking for a fully rectangular, down-filled sleeping bag. I've searched the interwebs and found a couple but they seem to be discontinued (e.g. Robens Outback 700 Down).
I hate the restriction of a sleeping bag so it's got to be rectangular, not semi-rectangular. And I dislike synthetic fillings so it's got to be down-filled top AND bottom.
Does something like this even exist? Or will I have to stick with duvets?
I don't have any suggestions I'm afraid, just wanted to say I feel your pain. I have spent too many hours searching for a 3 season rectangular sleeping bag without any bells and whistles like hood or pillow, just soft comfy and warm for less than £50!
