Right peps. Just got back from a great weekend away. This being the first really and have found that we need to upgrade/change a few things inside of the tent. So we want to go look around but I want to go to some good camping shops. Im in colchester essex so can anybody recommend some good shops near by?

You will probably find Weely caravans cheaper than Go Outdoors but if you want some bargains look around Ardleigh boot sale on Sundays.

Is Canvey Island isn't too far for you, there's Camping and General on there, and it's got everything you could need for camping, or caravanning.

camperite is okay and they will haggle with prices, im frinton on sea so not far from Colchester and we use go outdoors but mainly anywhere else we camp for better retailers.

We popped into Norwich Camping and Leisure on the way home from a day out yesterday. I must admit I was a little disappointed with it, I'm certainly glad I didn't make a special trip there. It all looked unloved, unorganised and uncared for, different strokes for different folks though I suppose. I may have just been spoilt with the retailers and camping displays around here, there are always great.
