I am looking to buy my first family tent. I am over 6feet tall and am put off by camping because if its to wet to sit outside your tent i feel too cramped sitting inside the tent.
So, I need a large tent with enough chill out space inside the tent. I also need a bedroom compartment big enough for 2 adults and a baby (girlfriend doesn't want baby in own bedroom pod!)
Finally I don't want it to break the bank...in fact I will probably look for a second hand one first!
With all that said does anybody have any advice or have a second hand tent that fits the above criteria?
Our Khyam tents (Ontario 8 and Nevada) are 225 tall (over 7' 4") so you shouldn't have any problems standing in them.
There are plenty of other tents that are a similar height.
A 4 or 5 berth tent will give you space and if you buy an end bedroom layout with dividing curtain, you can all sleep in the same pod and as your little one grows you have the option of lowering the curtain to create 2 separate bedrooms.
