Simillar to a recent thread, so apologies if I'm treading old ground. Hoping some more ideas/opinions can help us:
We are looking to upgrade to a bigger roomier tent after several trips with our Hi Gear Rock 4. Our family consists of myself and my wife and our 2 girls (2&4) but already the sleeping pods are getting cramped. The airbed causes stress on the internal pod seams so its time for a bigger tent and living space is minimal.
To avoid having to continually upgrade we are looking at 6 berth tents with the possibility of getting an extension/porch at the same time.
Too many times when it has rained has it been evident that larger living space is so so important.
I am 6ft2" so dimensions are important too. Budget without porch..£300ish, another £150 for porch? Approx
Any suggestions would be very welcome

Lots to choose from all the brands the Kampa Croyde seems the most recommended, The way the bedroom pods are on this tent provides you with a little more room than the kids.
The Porch is effectively built in and if don't like the open porch you can a Vestibule to close up.
Have a look at my cabanon athena package on said well known auction site. 6 berth can be used as 8 birth with sun canopy and cabanon utility tent. Gives you various options of set up.

We've just decided to sell our Wynnster Eagle 6 as we've now gone to a static. The tent was only used for 5 nights and we bought a caravan which we've used for 5 years and now the static so I don't think we'll be going back to a tent. It has three bedrooms and a HUGE living area plus open porch for cooking/wellies etc. Footprint & carpet (never out of the packaging) to be included in price. The living area is 2.2 metres so should be no problem for you. We'll also be selling the rest of our camping gear (kitchen, storage larder etc. so watch this space).
Amazing family weekend with old steam engines, classic car displays, market stalls, and full catering and bar. And camping on site - Save £25 by booking in advance.
