We have been camping once before and had an electric hook up so we powered the 12/240v coolbox from that.
Booked up to camping in 2 weeks time but the pitch does not have an electric hookup so how can i power the box to keep the food in the box cool?
I could just run it off the 12v socket in the car but as we are off for 10 days i don't think the car battery would last anywhere near that time as i doubt we will be driving about all that much.
Simple answer is that you can't unless driving every day - a cool box drains a battery very quickly. You'd be better off just using ice packs, if there is somewhere on site to freeze them.
