We live in Cornwall but have just bought a caravan for a seasonal pitch on the north coast. We're looking for a full size awning 1050cm for a twin axle van. Looking at secondhand isabellas but can anyone advise on another suitable for all weathers? Seen a nice Bradcot advertised but has easy alloy poles which don't seem to get good reviews? Are we better off with steel?
Eurovent Montreaux is the best I've seen at a reasonable price. They claim it is a 4 season awning suitable for winter in the Alps. I haven't put it to that test but I was very satisfied last season. We had it on a twin axle Coachman Laser and I think it was about the same size that you have. We also had the tall annex and used that as a bedroom. The main awning also has a false ceiling which conceals the poles and looks real cosy. I'm sure the awning with annex was around £1100 las year from Jeff Bowen Awnings. We no longer have the caravan as we have moved to a static but the guy who bought the van thought the awning looked great.
