All the above comments are relevant,but when this happened to me the simple mistake that I was making was instead of activating the two green start buttons on remote and letting go I was in fact holding them down until the green star lights reached the end.this was then turning it off at the box. A quick call to my installer who put me straight!!
Hi Labradorlass, I think this is a common mistake that a lot of people make due to poor instructions and the rather fast demonstration run-through that you get when the company installs the mover.
Thanks to some of the comments on here, especially from Labradorlass, I checked mine today to make sure it was still going on and off okay.

I am working with a 17 year old van and so the stuff I was up there to sort, I kind of expect to need maintenance, not a MM that is less than a year old.
