I am struggling with trying to find out exactly what size awning I need for my van, a Swift Challenger 540 z (2008). I have checked the swift site and it says 987. I have looked on the Isabella site and it tells me 975. Bradcot say 960. Some sizes will say 950-975 and others say 975-1008. Now I am not blonde but I am confused! I won't be buying a new one but a good quality, fairly new second hand one and don't want to make an expensive mistake buying the wrong size. Is there anyone with the same van as me who can tell me EXACTLY what size I need.
Best thing to do is measure it yourself then you know exactly what size to look out for.
Simply run a piece of string from the ground, through the awning channel to the ground on the other side. This will give you the ground to ground, or A to B measurement. You can then use this information to check on the different manufacturer's websites as to what size awning you need.
