Hi

We have recent purchased a Adria Altea 542DT 2011 after trading in our folding camper, and we are due to collect it in a couple of weeks.
I'm in the process of organising everything I'm going to need and have been informed that there is no grey waste pipes included with the caravan.
So I was wondering if anyone can let me know how the layout of the pipes as the DT has rear bathroom and mid kitchen. Are there 2 separate pipes leading into waste hog, or do people use a 'Y' junction and merge the two?
Also, is it better to have a long pipe from kitchen and shorter from bathroom and have waste hog at rear of van or visa versa?
Thanks

'Y' junction and merge the two. Our van has same layout and the waste comes out below the kitchen window.

We had the same van. There are two pipes exiting on the offside of the van next to each other under the bunk windows. Two short sections of pipe, a y piece and a long section of pipe is all you need.

Nice vans, enjoy it.

Enjoy your new van RichardCook326 a great choice of van and model year :)

As Checkley has posted above you just need a splitter and some short pipe. Can buy ready done on ebay if you prefer

Can't wait to get out again in 2015 - shout with any queries and do search Adria on here as some modifications, especially with things like the front bed comfort have been documented on here previously

Hi

Thanks for the replies and the information. Sounds like the waste pipe from my FC will do the job with a little cutting/trimming!

We collect van in a couple of weeks so can't wait as very excited. Love the van and feel the layout is perfect for us with 2 young children.

Both ours under 10, and works great for us all. We use the bottom tow bunks and top one for storage when on site with bags etc.

Get yourself one of those little tripod stools and use that for side dinette as you can fit two kids one side, one adult other side and one on stool at end, makes it all much more comfy for dining.

We removed the original folding dining table that stores in the cupboard and replaced with a bigger fully adjustable one we use in awning or outside in Europe, we then carry this across seats on dinette when travelling.

Loads of storage under the dinette seats which is right over the axle s as well for any heavier stuff like our Cadac, peg bag etc

Also in sunny Essex, so may see you on the road sometime :)
