Has anyone bought the £39.99 camp kitchen with the hanging larder from Argos item no. 019/6354? We went and got one this morning but when we got it home and opened it it's actually different from the picture on the website and the catalogue. It had an extra shelf on the left hand side with two cup holders and no larder! Does anyone know anything about this? Have they changed the design or have they just given us the wrong item even though it had the rigth catalogue number on it? It's such a hassle getting parked anywhere near our Argos Extra store as it's right in the middle of town and it's a bulky item. I've e.mailed the customer services to see what they can do, I've said if it's just a case of the larder being missing, can they post it to us. It's so annoying when things like this happen and we're going on our first trip in three weeks.

Wildie, they are the same but for the fact that the one we got has an extra little table on with two drink holders we actually had an identical one in our eurotent in Trevornick last year.
I just think having the larder gives you an extra shelf. We would put all our plates, cups and stuff in a storage box which would go under the table so I wouldn't be unhappy with this one, just curious as to why it's different and if anyone else had received the same one.

I bought the one with the larder during the week so I think you have been given last years model maybe. If the larder is important to you I would exchange it for the proper one.
The larder bit. It has an open top under the table so 'creatures' can still get in. Just pointing this out in case you think the open shelves are not as good as a fabric enclosed larder because you want bug control! Hope you see what I mean...

If it isn't what you expected, I would take it back - unless you are happy with it as it stands. Argos are very good at exchanging things or refunding if the article is not what you wanted.

Hi Queeny, not sure what you meant by this. I have one with a larder and no bugs can get in?
Oh I have the cheaper Argos kitchen then With mine, which is the single unit (larder under, worktop and windshield, no other worktops) the fabric larder is open topped so to speak, the worktop is the top...bugs could just walk in this bit even if you zip up the mesh front

Oh I see, we're getting mixed up about which kitchen it is! With the £40 one, the larder comes separately and is all sealed. I thought you had spotted something I hadnt for a minute.
From the pictures...the larder bits look the same tho...suppose you gets what ya pays for!!!
