I am looking at this thread with interest too, we have a large roof box - 580 litre but are rapidly outgrowing it. Been looking for a largish box trailer, are the erde 142 with plastic hard tops any good?.
you can get removable Flange towbars as well that cover both bases ie removability and the ability to have accessories ie bike racks that fit behind the towbar
just be careful on the nose weight if the cars small some are as low as 50KG
