Can anyone supply me with a couple of detailed pictures of a fold up bunk bed. I'm looking to make one myself. Looks to be a couple of sheets of maybe 12mm ply joined with hinges. Dimensions would be useful too. I have wood supports at what would be the head and the foot of the bunk. I can see that the plinth along the front will give strength but the back only seems to have a flimsy panel.
Will now attempt to attach picture of my supports.
unless you find the wood within the walls to support this then it will collapse, cheaper to go to a caravan breakers and get all the bits you are after than bodging what you are intending to do
are you 100% sure you have found the correct place? normally its a rather heavy looking chunk of wood hidden behind the wall board, and any breakers will have a bunk for your van, they are basically the same
So if this works 1st image is my caravan with supports.
