Hi

Toying with the idea of buying a pizza oven for camping, the "bakerstone" pizza oven looks good but not sure if my portable bbq is quite big enough. I use a charcoal one which has a grill area of 47cm by 25cm

Has anyone used one of these or a similar product?

I think as long as your BBQ can stay alight with the lid on and the stone is no bigger than 25cm, I believe you should be ok. I have the Weber go anywhere and thinking of getting one for myself.

My BBQ doesn't have a lid, I suspect the Pizza oven will completely cover the top of the BBQ. the depth of the pizza oven is 36cm, whilst my bbq is only 25 - so there will be overhang at the front or back.

I would say it needs a lid to get the heat up high enough to do a proper pizza
