Halogen oven that is of course. We are hoping to get one soon, having been persuaded of the need for one by this forum, but now we are debating what to stand it on. Is the bottom of the oven cool enough to go on a melamine/hardboard thingy like the Kampa Pheobe cupboard or does it need an aluminium or wooden top.

We know some of you already use these ovens and would appreciate your expertise.

If only using the halogen it sits on top of the electric hobs, if I need to use the hobs too it goes on a table.

Maybe look a using a heat resistant silicon mat.?

(check out ebay or even  the likes of "poundshops")
