somehow managed to lose ours grrrrr.....

a quick google just leads me to the smaller cadac plates or full systems. ours is the bigger deluxe model.

could anyone recommend somewhere that sells these please? might also look for a paella pan too, altho id probably be able to buy a new system for the cost of the plates i should think :-D

i think its called the carri chef deluxe, few years old now, its not the mark 2. has 3 locating lugs on it.

thats the one, thanks all. the gasproducts item is slightly cheaper than towler/staines, so will buy from there. tempting to get a paella pan too, but not sure how much use we'd get from it.

also, for those in the know, why the different barbecue plate these days? is it cos its non stick, so easier to clean? no other benefit? we've got the old chrome jobbie and yes its a pain to clean (as is most of the cadac actually, hate that build up of fat in the bowl, yuk)

We use the paella pan more than anything else, since getting it ... it's a fantastic addition, and very easy to clean. Highly recommended!
