We have an Avtex TV in the van and it's been very disappointing to be honest, various error messages. The screen acts as a mirror. And an awful EPG. It's not a tv we would ever justify again.
In the latest caravan club magazine there is an advert from vision plus for their "new" range of tv's does anyone have any experience of these at all?
I do not have experience of the latest model but I have had two of the older models. I bought one and 18 months later the DVD failed, they replaced the TV with a new one without any fuss and 18 months later the DVD failed. If I was buying again I would go much cheaper, the Finlux sets are very good and less than half the price.

For a licence dated 1997 or later you must add together the plated max weight of the caravan and trailer, if the total is 3500 or less you can tow it. You may even tow a caravan with a MAM greater than the cars unladen mass the restriction was removed in 2013
We bought our Vision Plus Tv when they were on offer in Go Outdoors. It has been used solely for our trips away in the caravan for the last two years and we've been very happy with it. Our daughter now has it in her bedroom too so we will find out how good it is with more frequent use.
Can't see the point of buying Avtex or Vison Plus. They both seem very overpriced to me. Just get yourself a TV from any main retailer and it will be a fraction of the price. Most small sets run from a 12V power a supply anyway.
Out set cost about £80 and has worked perfectly from the vans 12V supply for a couple of years.
We would like Free Sat rather than freeview - and the dvd would be handy when we look at the less expensive range its all specifically freeview so for our wants the vision plus seems to fit at the moment.
