We've recently bought the Coleman Xtreme and it's been impressive so far.
We use a couple of ice boards in the bottom and pack food amongst a couple of smaller ice blocks and a couple of bags of ice cubes. Then we place one of the bigger Thermos boards on top. Everything is still very cold at the end of the weekend, without having to replace with new ice blocks. The bags of ice aren't completely melted either so you can stick them back in the freezer at home and still get about half a bag's worth.
If we camped for more than a few nights, we'd just replace the ice blocks and the box would stay cold indefinitely.
If you buy a 3 way you can run it off gas. Works well for us although normally we use site electrics. Very efficient on gas but these boxes are not cheap. However second hand is less than £100 usually. We got ours on this website for £70 on the ads tab. Combicool.

Swift sprite major 4fb. Flashing lights on my thetford N3000.model a.fridge. Checked fuse appears o.k. Any help out there?
You need to find the manual for the model. Try googling your fridge and add '+manual' to the search query. Start a new thread on here with your query :)
Francais - I am intrigued as to how you run a Waeco on a leisure battery.
I have a waeco fridge and have several trips this year with no EHU and am seeking a solution as to how to run the fridge.
Idiots guide would be helpful as never ventured into battery use.
Thanks
Simon
