Hiya
Currently season pitched but planning on doing a lot more touring...mainly in CL/CS type sites. I don't keep the van at home - instead it's in storage.
So, I have a good quality charger and spare battery... but would like to 'safely' put the spare battery into a box if sorts that lives in the boot. Ideally, I'd also like to be able to charge it while driving - but with the minimum of work! I'm thinking I could take feed from the grey S socket that charges the caravan battery while towing - and be able to charge the spare battery in the boot (when not towing).
Anyone got any thoughts on how I could do this (the box and the charging)?
Thanks in advance
Si
Just spent a bit more time googling - I think the easiest way is to make a 12S cable - that somehow works it's way into the boot - meaning it utilises the relay that's already fitted to the car,
