Does anybody know how much an empty 7kg Butane Gas Bottle weighs??
We are trying to see if we can work out how much gas we have in the two bottles we already have, we are returning to camping after a five year break, setting off for Spain next weekend!
We bought a Cadac and want to make sure we have enough gas before we go.

have a good look at the cylinder to see if you can find the tare weight this is the weight of the empty cylinder
a lot of cylinders have the tare weight stamped on the bottle somewhere and if so weigh the cylinder deduct the tare weight and that is how much gas you have left
