I have been searching for a pole section for the door canopy of my HiGear Corado4, I know you can get extending replacement sets but I only need one section.

It is alloy, 16mm wide by 65cm long including the 5cm tapered end.

Anybody know where to get odd poles or any other ideas?

Take the damaged section to your friendly neighbourhood camping shop and ask if they can supply a replacement, or one that you could cut down, or see if Tentspares can help?

Thanks for the reply; I have now managed to make the section from some tube I acquired.

Your answer raises another question I have though, does anyone know of a 'friendly neighbourhood camping shop' in the Nottingham area? All I seem to find is great big companies that just seem to sell the pre-packed off the shelf parts.

Nearest I know of is 60 miles away, near M6 J10 - A2Z Camping/Tent Hire if you fancy a drive over!

There is a good old fashioned camping shop north of you in Sutton in Ashfield, called SSS. here
