When cooking chicken breasts we prefer to cook with the lid on as it tastes jucier!  There is no need to buy the meat trivet.  I found that the trivet out of a camping grill fits and works a treat.  I cooked a couple of pies this way at easter.  To use as an oven, food takes the same amount of time as it would at home in the oven.

Becca. How many heatbeads did it take for pies to cook? I  usually nuke my food on 9 HBs but fancy cooking something more delicate like pies and quiche.
