No it doesn't. If you are using regulator screwed into or clipped onto top of gas bottle then for UK supplied gas bottle it is impossible to fit incorrect regulator. For camping/caravanning use these are 28mb butane or 37mb propane.
Where you are getting yr 2004 from is after about then UK supplied caravans & motorhomes began to be fitted with 30mb regulators fixed to the bulkhead of gas locker & not to bottle. Bottles are connected by pigtail specific for bottle to bulkhead regulator. These bulkhead regulators can work with both butane or propane bottles.
